A nice experience for both children and adults Dec 14, 2008

You need good shoes and a lot of time to be able to enjoy the Tierpark Hellabrunn.

We went there in May 2007, probably avoiding the tourist-season, but it still was a lot of visitors there. You should really eat a good meal before you get here, because the meals and drinks were very expensive in the kiosks inside the zoo. The same goes for the souvenir shop.

A lot of beautiful and funny animals in "their natural environment". The animals look healthy and have good space (compared with small spaces in other zoo`s). I`m really not fond of zoo`s , but this one seems to take good care of it`s animals.

I recommend everyone, both children and adults, to spend a day here!

Sam and I woke up pretty cold still. Neither of us had gotten much sleep, it's hard to sleep when you're shivering and drunks are carrying on til 5am. We got up at 10am to get breaky, pancakes today!! We stacked up on the pancakes, enjoying a hot ch…… Unhappy with the weather, Happy with the beer!

I got back from Neuschwanstein in the late afternoon / early evening, so I figured there was plenty of time to check out the Olympic park & stadium from the 1972 Olympics that Munich hosted. No events were being held at Olympiastadio…… Munich day 2 - Olympiapark
