Shop Til You Drop at Tiendesitas! Feb 28, 2008
Tiendesitas is Pasig City's famous shopping and entertainment complex. Its name literally means "a collection of little stores". Perfect for native products collectors, or souvenir-hunters, Tiendesitas features native food, fashion and accessories, antiques, personal care, novelty items and handicrafts.

Strategically located in Frontera Verde, the stores are housed in twelve thatched roof pavilions or "villages" inspired by Maranao ( a native group in Southern Philippines ) architecture.

At night, shoppers are treated to acoustic and live band performances. There is also an area dedicated to special shows, exhibits, and unique Filipino presentations. Kids and adult can enjoy riding the kalesa (local horse-drwan carriage), which goes around Tiendesitas.

For schedule of activities, check their website www.tiendesitas.com.ph

I LOVE the Chatuchak Market in Bangkok, Thailand, so hopefully Tiendesitas can live up to its Pinoy name. I love that I can bargain in Bangkok. Is bargening/haggling allowed here?? I'm a shop-a-holic when I'm on holiday. thanks,
