On my trip to China I was looking forward to Tibet the rooftop of the world.

I have recently returned from a 3-week holiday to Tibet. It was intense,shocking, amazing, stunning, beautiful and inspiring. I wish I was still there.

A journey through Tibet we made in 2006.

I happened to be in China after the rally and going overland to HK, passing through close to a place called Xiahe in Tibet (although China). It was a wonderful diversion and I have learnt that Tibetans are the most exotic amazing looking people! It was funny to be an object of fascination to them as much as they were to us! There were a lot less monks we were told and about 300 were still imprisoned.
