For three weeks from May to June of 2006 I had the time of my life as I traveled all around Israel with my "History and Geography of Biblical Lands" group through JUC (Jerusalem University College) on Mount Zion in Jerusalem. I loved every minute that I was in Israel. It is amazing to see the places where the Biblical events took place. Some may say it's simply rocks, but to me the archaeological sites mean so much more. Jerusalem has won my heart forever! Can't wait to return

Volunteering in Israel and travelling around the Middle East

My trip to Israel, we spent time mostly in Tiberias, but also visited the Golan Heights, Jerusalem and Ein Gedi at the Dead Sea.

When I got to Tiberias I thought everything was good, what I found out was that there were no more buses running around the sea of galilee that night. Nadat we weer naar boven waren geklommen stapten we weer in en reden we rechtstreeks naar Tiberias. Hier moesten nog wat boodschappen gedaan worden waarna we weer terug gingen naar de camping.
