Tři století Prague Reviews
Great service not paired with great food Mar 22, 2014
N50°4.949' E14°25.597' This modern designed restaurant offers for the last seven years Czech cuisine. Of its guests 95% are foreigners. Not that Czechs don't like their own cuisine, but Tri Stoleti (Three Centuries) is too expensive for them.
From the start, service is excellent. With so many foreign guests, the wine list is extensive. Tri Stoleti offers Czech wines, a novelty for us. The Rouci Stapleton wine tasted surprisingly good. Soups were excellent as starter, but the main dishes failed to impress. Cod had a firm bite and was on the dry site with lot of fish bones. Czech style probably. The tagliatelle was prepared with cream and lots of olive oil. This is real mighty pasta! Czech style probably. Roasted lamb was well done. Nice meat. Couscous was too dry to be a fine combination the lamb. Czech style probably.
Our first experience with the Czech cuisine in April 2013 was mixed. The wine surprised us and will be on our shopping list. The combination in the main dishes failed to impress. The service and entourage was excellent to impress foreigners. Wi-Fi is free. Reservation is advised.
