This hostel just opened when we visited in April 2006. We were very much charmed by it's appearance. We had nog expected much because of the cheap price (8 euro's pp/pn) but it was very nice.
Our room was very large, had normal beds (no bunk beds). We had to use the community showers, but those were okay.
The hostel had computers with free internet and was situated near the Potsdammer Platz and near the metro.

supermary says: Heart of Gold Hostel is absolutely great. Really modern building with giant glass wall in every room. Location is absolutely central, you can reach everything on foot! and it's really cheap. at least in my opinion.
