Three Sixty Rooftop Bar Saint Louis Reviews
Three Sixty Rooftop Bar with spectacular 360-degree views, great food & wine Apr 10, 2012
WoW! WoW! WoW!
Three Sixty (360) is my new place to be on every trip to Saint Louis! The spectacular 360-degree views, especially at sunset or during a ballgame at Busch Stadium are AMAZING! Check out the attached pictures!
The place just opended in Summer 2011 so not everyone knows about this amazing place--yet. There were weekday "Groupon" coupons used by many of the locals who secured them online to reduce costs and drum up sales.
But then there is the FOOD! Executive Chef Rex Hale is committed to using locally sourced food on Three Sixty’s tapas-style small plates menu. I had the most amazing popcorn ever (for $7 a bowl it had better be good but this was awesome!) with truffle oil and garlic. Truffled Popcorn--who knew? The locally-grown cheese plate was my personal favorite because I am a a cheese-a-holic, but the Red Pepper Oysters were a great meal as well. The "house specialty" seems to be the "fish tacos" or the "salmon chips" but I tried other items instead, to include the pork belly and double burger sliders to keep costs down. I also had the sausage pizza which was very good and baked in a wood oven on the rooftop.
They have a great collection of beverages--including one of my favorite red wines: Ruffino Superiore Chianti which paired well with my organic cheese plate. My Stella Artois lager and a local O'Fallon amber ale paired well with the Truffled Popcorn.
The Saint Louis Post Dispatch newspaper’s Joe Bonwich has included Three Sixty in his list of his “Favorite New Restaurants of 2011.” I don't blame him!
The place gets crowded after work hours until around 10 PM, especially if the weather is clear and the sunset is visible or there is a ballgame in Busch Stadium which you have a clear view all the way to home plate!
The DJ and the main bar are indoors near the kitchen, but there are several alcoves with comfortable seating and gas-lit "fire pits" or "fire lines" to keep everyone warm on cool evenings.
The views of downtown Saint Louis, the Arch/Jefferson Expansion Memorial and Busch Stadium are AMAZING from all sides of the 26th floor rooftop bar on the South Tower of the Hilton Ballpark at the corner of Broadway and Market Streets.
I will be sure to hang out at Three Sixty Bar on all my future trips to Saint Louis--for the views and the food!
