This hostel was amazing! It was tucked back in behind a church just off Alexander Platz. The service was spectacular. The main entrance had big overstuffed furniture for you to relax in for a minute or two while you are checking in. Attached to the reception desk was a bar where you could purchase drinks of all sorts, snacks, and sandwiches. In the room attached to the reception is a huge lounge with a pool table and Foosball table. It also had many computers and more overstuffed furniture to relax in with friends or catch up on emails. The rooms were extremely spacious. The beds were probably the most comfortable beds I had ever slept in. The bathrooms were well taken care of and even though there were only 4 showers total, there was never an issue with waiting to use any of them. Linens are provided but you have to bring your own towel. There are also lockers in the rooms but you have to provide a lock for it. Each room also has a sink and a table with chairs to write letters or grab a quick snack before bed. They offered a complete German style continental breakfast each morning from 7.30 until 11.00 each morning which is perfect for the early risers and those that sometimes like a few extra hours. They charge 5 euros for breakfast, but it is included in the room cost if you are staying there. This is the perfect hostel for families, teens, and adults alike. It is especially nice for the travelers wanting to stay in the city but away from all the noise, as this hostel does have quiet hours starting at 22.00 until 6.00. It is definitely worth every penny and I definitely plan to stay there again when I am in Berlin.
