Oldest Saloon In The Area May 24, 2013
I usually eat at Three Fingered Jack's Saloon when I'm in Winthrop.

On Friday and Saturday night, they offer up prime rib, as well as their usual fare of burgers, steak, sandwiches, etc.

The prime rib and steaks are pretty pricey (prices rival those in a bigger city, like Seattle), which is a bit unexpected considering the location and size of the town. Most come with your choice of potato and the vegetable of the night.

They also have a large selection of beers on tap, as well as bottled.

Good Eats, Good Service & Good Prices Mar 05, 2010
I had dinner at Jacks, which boasts that they are the oldest"legal" saloon in the state of Washington. I don't often see it on the menu, so I had gizzards, fries & a salad. I also ordered a cold beer. Jacks has about a dozen beers on tap and I was pleased to see MGD as one of them! The salad was very fresh with green leaf lettuce instead of the tasteless iceberg. When the server brought out my food, my eyes got wide...I couldn't believe how much there was! The pile of fries looked like they used three, huge russet potatoes to make them. Because the gizzards were on the appetizer menu, I expected about a dozen of them...there was more like two dozen! I could only eat half the food and took the rest back to my room at the inn...it was a great snack later in the evening.
