Our first stop was the Royal Tombs at Vergina. This is supposedly the tomb of Philip II, the father of Alexander the Great. The entire museum is set up on this presumption. Whether it actually was his tomb however is not certain. The Greeks are determined to call it the tomb of Philip II, becau…

Greece -› Athens, Greece -› …
Greece-I thought I would never get there. I've been there twice 2006-2007. I went to Athens, Thessaloniki and a few islands where I fell in love with Santorini. Santorini looks exactly like the post cards you would get at a stand. Dazzling sunsets and beautiful beaches-it is paradise on Earth. I don't know how I managed to come back home!

i've finally managed to escape the oh-so-fascinating world of hedge fund finance, and am now decadently indulging my long-suppressed wanderlust with 15 months on the road and around the world... *note: apart from the odd review (generally of something not found in your standard guide book), this is really more just a map of my travels than a proper blog, but if you want more information on anywhere i`ve been or what i`ve been up to, send me a message and i`ll see if i can rustle something up.
