Thermae 2000 is one of the biggest wellness centres of the Netherlands. They are located at the top of Cauberg-hill and it’s a really peaceful environment. Thermae 2000 has indoor and outdoor pools, whirlpools, saunas, steambaths etc. Everything you need to relax, they got it! Thermae 2000 has a motto: Time to relax, refresh and rebalance. All these things are true! You’ll become a whole new person after you’ve been there! They also have the latest massage techniques and skin&body care. You can even spend a whole weekend at Thermae 2000! They have a beautiful hotel and a lovely restaurant with all kinds of health menus, fruitcocktails etc.

The second day we went to the Welness beauty farm - Thermae 2000 to enjoy and relax, refresh and to rebalance. Also we hired some bikes to explore the Limburg landscape and enjoy the beautiful nature, hills and views. I went to some small towns, to a name a few; Sibbe and Magraten. Thermae 2000, the former marl quarries (with charcoal drawings which sometimes even date back to the time of the Romans). the Sint-Gerlachus church in Houthem Sint-Gerlach. (The only religious building with fresco's (paintings on marl) in the Netherlands).
