Thepprasit Stadium Pattaya Reviews
Thai Boxing entertainment Jun 03, 2013
Thepprasit is a Pattaya based Muay Thai boxing stadium that attracts many fighters across the world. Everyday contestants novice or famous are attracted here. The stadium, though not large by American standards, has great seating options available. The ring is surrounded by dining tables and bleachers.
My friends and I were able to score some VIP seats for roughly 1500 Thai Baht ($50 USD) and they were the best seats in the house. We managed to visit during one of the "slower" days of the week in which we saw children and young adults fight each other. The amount if pride the fighters had in this sport was interesting. Usually the more prominent fighters bout on Friday and Saturday nights. The drinks and food are relatively cheap here roughly around 50 THB per drink and 100 THB per snack.
Here, there is strong crowd support with each fighter they bet on. Interestingly enough, there are bookies that handle each match. I state this because some of those close matches end up handing the more supported fighter the victory. Overall, I strongly recommend Thepprasit Stadium and would go again if I ever visit Pattaya again. Fellow Travelers just look for the statue of two Kickboxers in action out in the front.
