Thekla Bristol Reviews
Thekla Apr 29, 2008
Thekla is a nighclub and gig venue in a boat in teh Welshback harbour part of Bristol. Entrance depends on the night club or which band is playing, and is free if there is nothing much going on. the boat also serves food in the day time.
They do check your ID, even for bands, so make sure that you have some with you.
The acoustics are surpisingly good for a boat, and the bar queues are never too bad. the queue for the toilet is also not too bad, and there are little balcony areas for watching the band. The location is excellent.
