The towers. Feb 09, 2018
In the Middle Ages there were 130 towers in Lucca. Today only two of these are left.

You can climb to their tops of these towers and enjoy the landscape over the town.

One of these is named torre Guinigi. It was built around 1390 and is 45 meters tall. There are some oak trees on its top. The other is a bell tower called torre delle Ore. It was built around XIII century.

There is a special ticket to visit the towers. You can visit both of them and also the botanical garden for a reduced price. It is valid for two days.
