We ate out everyday, even though we had our own kitchen and I must say, I was not disappointed. The entire two weeks I was there, I only had one bad meal. Tip: stay away from all tourist areas. They feed the tourists the left overs and quality is often suffering. Eat what the locals eat. Meals were not generally cheap but they were so good it was worth it. You really can't go wrong. Tip: splurge and eat the tapas; there is always something new and tasty. Besides, who can resist those yummy morsels when they're sitting right in front of you?

An example… Restaurant/Cafe |

So how come corner cafés and restaurants can thrive in Argentina with the competition of the big guys? One answer could be sheer numbers. I haven’t seen that many McDonald’s or Burger Kings in Buenos Aires. There are tons of small restaurants that are more attractive the passer… Café Culture |
