Small but generally good May 21, 2011
The night bazaar, all in all, isn't a terrible attraction. It's very tourist friendly and has just about anything your above average market would offer...good food, music, a wide variety of clothing and Thai memorabilia. The Thai food stands in the back left, as you enter from the entrance near Prantip plaza, are very tasty, cheap, and tourist friendly. IE: They cook the food well and don't leave it sitting out for long. The market itself however is quite small. You can walk the full extent of the market, weaving all the paths and causeways in less than an hour, and that's at a turtle's pace. The near by bars and restaurants make the trip worth while. Try checking out the Irish pub for some pool and stout beer, then heading over to Cafe del Sol for some great live music and a good mix of farrang and Thai people, just trying to have a good time.

Good luck :)
