The house and museum of Frida Kahlo Reviews

Authentic Museum Apr 23, 2008
Lovely preservation of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera's home. Includes many original letters, artwork and actual possessions. Highly recommended!

Visiting the house and the museum of Frida Kahlo is worth the experience if you like her work, or the history that her personallity carries. You get a nice view, and walk around in the house where Frida used to live with Diego Riviera. Although it might be even more interesting if you know as much of the story of Frida already, to me the house is worth the visit, just to see the house they were living in at those days, the places they worked, cooked, slept, and to see the colourful garden they had.
Inside the house you get a nice interpretation of how life was for her and others during that period of time, and you get to see some of her works, as well as real attributes out of the ols days, like her bed, wheelchair. It's historical, as well as cultural and just a beauty for the eye. Something for everyone, and everything for someones.
The house is located in a nice street, and really catches your eyes, because of it's very attractive blue colour.
Make a note that taking pictures inside the house is forbidden, but in the garden and the outsides of the house are free for your photografic desires.
