When you're in the city of Oaxaca, I'd advice you to take some time, just to sit down, relax, and anjoy the atmosphere at and around the Zocalo. The street musicians, the people walking around, the birds, the musicians at the center stage, it's all wonderful to me. You can either enjoy it from a patio, or just sitting in the middle on a bench.
If you open your sences, you won't feel bored, because something happens anytime.
