Freshest Seafood in Town Apr 01, 2011
The name of this waterfront restaurant comes from a trawler (the Richard and Charlene) that slammed into the building during a hurricane in 1989. Located in the old village of Mount Pleasant, The Wreck is still the BEST and freshest seafood you can get anywhere for your money near Charleston. If there is a wait, you can sit out on the deck and watched the boats come into port or if it is the right time of day, you can see the stunning sunset over the Ravenel Bridge. The grilled seafood platter is delicious and a must have.
