Shame that the public cannot enter usually Feb 20, 2017
I would have given this place 5 stars, had it been open to the public. However, it is only open to the public one day each year (on Open House Day).

I came across it by wandering along a narrow alley (Stationers Hall Court) that leads from Ludgate Hill into the peaceful courtyard of this beautiful ensemble of buildings.

My pictures should give a general idea about this lovely looking institution, the headquarters of one of the Livery Companies of City of London.

The present building dates from the late 17th century, when the Hall was rebuilt after The Great Fire of London 1666.

WORTH a visit, even if you cannot enter it!
