The Woodman Shrivenham Reviews
The Woodman Apr 13, 2009
The Woodman is a village pub in rural Gloucester. It has great food, real ale, and nice wine.
The menu is quite pricey, but well worth it for what you get. The two courses and wine each we had the night we went came to about £22 each. The food is mostly traditional British, although made with posher ingredients - there is a sausage of the day for the bangers and mash, for example. It's well cooked and the servings are genourous. The pub is quite cozy, and there isn't much space, but I think that if you had mobility problems the staff would try to help you out.
The service was very good.
