The Wolseley London Reviews
Where the stars of hollywood go and you too.. Jun 05, 2011
Is a must see.. specially if you would like to experience the English Afternoon tea, in London.
The place is open from 7 in the morning monday to friday and last orders are at midnight and place is istill full..
TH restaurant never closes.. until 11:30 you can have breakfast, after that Lunch menu starts and goes until 3 followed by the cafe menu and the afternoon tea..which finishes ate 6pm during the week and 5.30 on saturday. The prices are reasonable The wolseley afternoon tea set is 21£ per person with a pot of tea, different mini cakes, finger sandwiches, sones with jam and cream.. Everything made fresh every day in the Pastry kitchen of the Wolseley.
Saturdays and Sundays the place open at 8am and closes at 11pm.
Breakfast is about 10-30£ per person unles you order an omelette caviar which will be definately more expensive..
Lunch and dinner with a glass of wine will be around 30-40£ (THey have an amazing list of wines by the glass which is a very good option if you just want to try a different wine with your meal.)
Afternoon tea can be just a cake and a tea which will cost about 8-10£ or the whole set for 21£per person..
And if money is not a problem for you than why not bring family and friends too..?!
The atmosphere inside the restaurant is impossible to describe and the original chandellears and the marble floor makes your mind go back in time.. The history of the place is also amazing.. but I recommend you go there and try and ask one of the lovely, friendly and professional staff to tell you all about the story of The Wolseley.
