The Wilmington Dam

The dam is a great place to fish,drown a few worms(big ol' catfish,bass, etc.)even down stream at the islands there are pockets of bass, etc. "The Launching Pad" is a great place to visit, eat and take a break from the heat, fish sandwiches, tenderloins,brats and they have pizza burgers and cauliflower!...Part of Historic Old Rte 66 (Hwy 53) on the edge of town(Joliet sideof town)! Last week was the Catfish Festival, I missed out on the mud volleyball tournament, looked like fun, hard to tell who won?
