a perfect night pubs Jun 21, 2011
The Wild Geese in Braunschweig first opened its doors to the public on Thursday 27th March 1997 at 7pm.

The party was in full swing when shortly after 12am, it then being Good Friday; the Ordnungsamt arrived to end the live music.

However, after this shaky start, we grew to become Germany’s best Irish Pub.

Native Braunschweigers, students, ex pats and visitors have transformed our pub into a local institution.

On the Tuesday night’s quiz we have marvelled at some of the brilliant, intelligent, witty and occasionally plain stupid answers!

On Thursday’s Karaoke nights we have been entertained by the very musically talented, the musical and the tone deaf giving their own particular versions of our favourite songs.

Halloween sees our customer’s true talent with the cleverest costumes this side of Rio. On St. Patrick’s Day we see more green worn than in Dublin.

Throughout all this, our wonderful staff have provided efficient, professional friendly service to our customers. We have had Irish and German staff and others many different places that reflect the modern cosmopolitan society that is now Braunschweig. Some have been with us for several years, others like students, for only a few months. All have had one thing in common: Commitment and loyalty to The Wild Geese and a desire to make each visit of our guests a memorable one.
