Great stay for family of 2 adults and 1 kid.

Room was large, clean and very updated furnishings. Excellent location in the heart of the shopping heaven.

The Westin Hotel in Kuala Lumpur Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, it is opposite the newly-opened large shopping mall – the Pavilion. Along the road are cafes, restaurants, shopping malls and the popular Bintang Walk. There is metro station around the corner. It is also walking distance to the famous Petronas Twin Tower/Suria KLCC shopping mall.

They offer large, comfortable and clean room. Bathroom and toilet are clean and the shower is great. You will not be disappointed with the amenities they offered. The in-room coffee and tea making facilities are great too because they offer the finest Arabian grinded coffee beans and Japanese green tea.

Excellent choice of buffet breakfast, you can even ask for cappuccino instead of regular coffees. They offer Asian, Western and Middle Eastern cuisines for buffet breakfast. No complaint.

They also offer fine dining like the Italian, Chinese and Latin America. The outdoor café by the Italian restaurant – Prego is a must try.

Gorgeous gym and pool. There are some skilled personal trainers in the gym to guide you around. We never try the pool but it looks good to us.

The customer service is the one thing that keeps us going back to Westin. We have been to a lot of hotels but no one is as good as the Westin staff. All of them remember your name. From the check in staff to waiters/waitresses to bell boys. They address you with your name, not madam and sir. That make us feel welcome and have a sense of belonging, we feel like we are home.

Although it is a little expensive (USD200+) but it definitely worth the value.

Location is a key. The Westin is located just outside the Pavilion mall, lined with all the posh shops, not to mention, a variety of good restaurants and party places.

Transportation is very efficient in the area as well. However, there could be traffic build up during rush hours.

The pool is stylish could've been bigger and they could have more beach chairs as it could get crowded in the afternoon.

My (then) boyfriend stayed there for a month and he took a suite in the residences. Part of his package is a 50% discount from all the outlets and that was great.

The suite itself is big and the amenities are complete - there's even a toaster! There is an indoor balcony-like area, the work station is a little office cove and the entire architecture gives its guests proper privacy.

The bed is amazing, it's very comfortable like you will get lost in the covers! They call it "the heavenly bed" .. as in could buy it from their catalogue. I think they have a thread count of 400. Housekeeping staff were also very professional and efficient.

I loved the Q Bar at the lobby, although the place could get quite dirty late in the evening. Nice music with live bands.
