Located in Shepherd’s Bush (this isn’t the only one in London), this is an Australian bar that brings in live bands. The atmosphere is really laid-back and cool, with two floors and a bar on each, with wooden floors and dimmed lighting. Once the band starts, though, get ready for a night of dancing. We had so much fun. The band we saw performed Top 40 hits, but rock style. We danced and drank all night. Good people, good fun.

…listening to me go on and on about my holiday and about the aussies, Dil and Shola thought the only way to cure me was to take me to Walkabout! Aussie heaven for pommys...lol.
This was my first time at a Walkabout. I'd never actually taken any interest in Aussies before, so hadn't any reason to go to a Walkabout. It was different this time, seeing as though aussies were my only… Walkabout (Temple) |

For the afternoon, we quickly checked out the Museum of Natural History, then headed to none other than the good old "Walkabout" pub for some good Aussie tucker on our last night in beautiful London!!
The next morning marked the start of our road trip, with our brand spanking new car - the "Green Bean"!! … LONDON! |

I've since started working at the Walkabout Pub in Islington, and moved into a room above the pub. Living with an Aussie guy around my age, and a Kiwi guy whos a bit older and is the assitant manager. Both of them, and all the staff are all really… 3 weeks has gone quick! |

Ive managed to get a job already at a "Walkabout" which is an aussie themed pub. Theres a few of them around, but the one i am starting at is in Islington. They have live-in accommadation, so I will have cheap (£40/week) accomm with my own room! They also dude… First Days in London! |

We took the tube to Shepherd’s Bush, and went to a bar called ‘The Walkabout’. We had so much fun in this Australian bar. We just danced the night away. I was so glad that Irina and Chris met up with us, too. We had to leave at midnight, as everything closes down relatively early. We took the tube… Day 13 in London |
