Cut from the web:

Great Viking-ship discoveries from Gokstad, Oseberg and Tune as well as other finds from Viking tombs around the Oslo Fjord. The world's two best-preserved wooden Viking ships built in the 9th century. Small boats, sledges, cart with exceptional ornamentation. Implements, tools, harness, textiles and household utensils.

A little and nice museum. Nice vikingships, but 50kr is perhaps a little overpriced for this small exhibition. Its free with the Oslo-pass so buy it. They do have annother museum about the vikings lying in oslo and the politicians are thinking about merging those two museums , if that happen the exhibit will become much larger and it will get 4stars. Now "only" 3 (which means thats its worth going to)

After new research they are planning to move the ships after 2010, so the current situation remain unchanged.
