The Trampe bicycle lift

As the first city in the world Trondheim has a specificalt designed lift for cyclists. The lift is developed in Trondheim and goes up the steep hill at Brubakken near The Old City Bridge at Bakklandet. It takes you from the bridge and almost all the way up to Kristiansten Fort. You can have a nice lunch at the resturante at Kristiansten Fort, walk aroun and look at the viuw over Trondheim. Befor you takes your bike down the hill at Brubakken studying the ones who try to use the Trampe bicycle lift.
Every day in the summer there is lots of tourists studying the lift. For test run you need a lift card and ofcouse a bike, bikes are for rent all over Trondheim, and cards for bikes and the lift is avaliable at the Tourist Information Office at the Main Square of at the bike shop or Dromedar coffee shop at Baklandet at the starting point of the lift.
