luxury club Jun 27, 2011
Tiger club is famous for being the first choice by celebrities when they come visit Helsinki. Personally, I think its worthy a visit but not really exciting or fancy.

The drink quality is really good. I have to say bartenders there are pretty professional :) But the price is quite high. The entrance fee is 10eur and drinks cost more than 7eur for each.

The club is on 9th floor of the building in central. The view is not super nice but its a good chance to see Helsinki from higher view.

There are 2 poles there so if you know how to pole dance, give it a try :)

luxury exclusive Club May 10, 2010
From follwing other people into the club we found it was a hefty 10E entry, but decided to go in. Bouncers met us at a lift, which you got in and went to level 6 where you could put your coats and jackets away. The club on a Saturday night was over 24's however we werent challenged at the door. I think the I.D age changes depending on the night.

We chose to hang onto ours and proceeded into the club. It was lovely, some of the booths had been ropped off - for V.I.P's but there were other areas you could sit without having to fight for a seat.

WE went to get a drink and paid a hefty 15E for two drinks.... we took these outside on the smoking terrece, where there were patio heaters and it allowed you to look across Helsinki at night, it is one of the most amazing sites i have ever seen from a club.

Back inside the club was filling up and the dance floor was getting busy, we took our seats over looking the dance floor, i really enjoyed myself. The music was some chart/ dance music which ran into each other by the fantastic D.J.

The womens toilets which always have a que in every club i have been too, had no que and was constantly stocked with toilet paper which again was brilliant.

Although it did cost alot to get in and to have drinks in the club i would highly reccommend it, and if i was going back to Helsinki again this is where i would be heading.

The staff behind the bars were a little slow and didnt seem to stick to serving people in order that they turned up. This however would be only one of the negatives i could find with this club.

Tiger is full with insecure teenage ppl, newly rich Russians and drunk shites from Finland.
Do not go there if you are looking to meet someone nice.
Try Apollo instead.

Expensive, Yet Fantastic Nightclub With Unbelievable Views May 08, 2010
Having visited a few bars first in Helsinki we decided to follow the crowd to our next location: The Tiger. At first we weren't sure whether or not it was a nightclub as a huge shopping mall loomed up in front of us...still, there was a sizeable queue and a bouncer with a clipboard so we queued up anyway. At the front of the queue was a young girl taking the money: €10 entry. Ouch - not a huge price but certainly more than we pay back home. However, we thought we would chance it and spoil ourselves - thank goodness we did! Once we had taken the elevator (yep, elevator!) to the 6th floor we stepped out into a remarkable, long rectangular nightclub.

The drinks were pretty steep, too, as expected but they were happy to take card if you didn't have cash (quite dangerous I might add once you've had a few and you don't realise how much you are spending...) The music was pop and dance until around 3am and then became more R&B after that.

The smoking area is a huge balcony stretching the length of the shopping mall overlooking Helsinki - quite an incredible view which you can find yourself staring at for quite a while whilst you drink the night away.

I would definitely, recommend this place as a one off. It's expensive, yes, but well worth spoiling yourself if you can!
