Kuwait And Visitors Jan 17, 2009
First, Kuwait is a very expensive country to visit. It's not a very tourist friendly place either. I lived there for about 13 months and did very little shopping. If you don't speak arabic, it's not much fun. They have so many rules and customs there as well. I was just working there, but I don't see why anyone would just want to visit the place. That's my two cents and I just wanted to share it with you. Oh yeah, it's freaking HOT there as well!

Four months in the desert heat and sand moving people and cargo, this this is when and where I grew up. I saw people, places, and things, and I even had my life pass before my eyes. I never knew what hot was till I deployed to the Middle East. This was hell on earth, but oddly some of the best times of my life.... … My 2005 deployment |
