This is the restaurant we usually go to if we want Indian food. They have a very good selection of dishes like chicken korma or lamb tikka masala. I also like their lentil soup and the vegetable samosas, very yummy. We typically get the pullao rice with ritta, which are both tasty.

Sometimes the waiters might be a bit stressed since the place tends to be crowed at the weekends but other than that they are polite and helpful with choosing meals.

The decoration of the Taj is quite nice with murals depicting Indian scenes, there is also some booth seating, which are covered in Indian carpets, I guess that is how they'd be called.

I'll be in Santa Barbara tomorrow at Soho on State Street. So I was thrilled to see this and will have to give it a go!
