The Study at Yale

Yet ANOTHER new restaurant in New Haven ... they really come and go in this town. So this one is very new ... opened up in an old hotel and became a restaurant and kind of boutique hotel, catering (of course) to the Yale clientele. I was here for, yes, another drug dinner. The appetizers were great, dinner was good. One thing about these upscale type restaurants, you can have appetizer, salad, entree AND dessert, and still not be really full. (and I am not that big an eater) The decor is kind of like a library, who knows how long it will stay. One thing I always have a problem with when it comes to New Haven restaurants is the parking. These places never have parking and you have to either drive around (New Haven is full of one way streets) or pay a lot to park in a lot. Being basically cheap ... I usually chose to drive around.
