The Strip House New York Reviews

The first thing that impressed itself upon me is the ambience. I love red, and the entire restaurant is bathed in hushed red tones, enhanced by candlelight. The walls are covered with black and white photos of celebrities and sports greats of the 40s and 50s (??).

The service is impeccable. Considering it's often hard to get a reservation, sometimes even weeks in advance, the snooty atmosphere one might expect to find here is absent. The staff is friendly, and helpful, and manages to keep your glass full, and the courses coming without hovering. Portions are ample, and if you're not careful a friend might have to roll you to the door as you try to wipe that 'well fed' grin off your face.

The Strip House experience doesn't come cheap, but it's worth every penny.

Highly recommended!
