So we heard this place was great, tons of fun. According to Lonely Planet's Blue List its one of the hippest hostels in the world. Well we must have come on a few off-days, because it wasn't that great. We were sketched out to begin with as its located on a sketchy sidestreet, down some stairs at the end of a narrow hallway. It is a decent place, free internet and breakfast. The staff were really chill and cool. Maybe too chill though, we checked in and left our bags and were told our beds would be ready in 3 hours. We came back 3 hours later and our bed wasn't ready and the room we were told we were in was changed. When we came back the guy quickly grabbed the sheets and blankets and made our beds in less than 10 minutes. It was strange.

We didn't have to pay for all the night when we got there, just when we left. Its located pretty close to the major sights of Krakow, definitely walking distance. The staff booked our walking tour of the city and are able to book Auschwitz tours and Salt Mine tours. The 'famous big screen projector' was broken, but apparently there are movies played on it nightly. There is a pretty cool big round couch there.

If privacy is what you're looking for...not really the place. The showers are very...open. If you've stayed here you know what I'm talking about, especially the upstairs bathrooms. Gotta give this place points for meeting our trip twins here in our room. The beds were comfortable too though. Overall, its a pretty good place, we just heard it was spectacular and it definitely wasn't that.
sketchy? I think so..

This hostel wasn't too bad. It was extremly laid back which was pretty cool. When we got there around 1pm they said that our beds hadn't been made yet but they would be done by 6pm hopefully lol. There were signs up that said if you want to stay that is ok just let us know and they would charge you for a half day if you weren't gone by 7pm lol. There was a very big lounge room that had this like giant couch where you could just hang out and there was also a kitchen. Upstairs there were a whole bunch more rooms which is where we were staying with another kitchen full of stuff to use. The hostel was decently clean and the showers were ok. They didn't really have room though to cover up so anyone could walk in really and see you behind the curtain so you had to hang up your towel to cover. The staff were all pretty nice and helpful on giving tips for tours if you need it. There were two computers with free internet so that was pretty sweet. All in all this hostel wasn't too bad but it was fairly quiet. It was supposed to be one of the biggest party hostel of europe but like i said it was pretty quiet so maybe we were just there on a off couple of days or something. Anyways i would recommend staying here though. Its really close to the main square in krakow with lots of restaurants, bars, clubs etc fairly near buy. You could walk to the main train station if you wanted to but it would take a little bit and I recommend just taking the tram.

Krakow is also confusing
So we got to Krakow and our directions to the Stranger Hostel told us to take the tram. Well we could not find a tram station. We had no idea where to go, there were no signs telling us where to…Krakow and our directions to the Stranger Hostel told us to take the tram. Well we could not find…
