The Speed Ferry from Hurghada to Sharm-El-Shiekh Travel Reviews

Dec 22, 2007
The ferry from Hurghada to Sharm-El-Shiekh costs 250 Egyptian Pounds (about $45 US as of 12/07). While I bought my tickets the day before, tickets could still be purchased before boarding. As far as passenger ferries, I can only compare this experience to the Hong Kong ferry system, which is not only much more affordable but better ran as well. Nevertheless, given the options in Egypt of going from Hurghada to Sharm-el-Shiekh, the ferry is the fastest and most affordable way to travel.
