The Slaughtered Lamb London Reviews
The slaughtered lamb a great venue for live music or just for a drink and a snack. Nov 19, 2008
The slaughtered lamb is a very nice pub/music venue situated amongst lots of poncy office furniture stores where one can purchase a plastic chair for £500.
The slaughtered lamb is split into two floors the ground floor or 1st floor if your American is the pub which in itself is a very nice place to go for a drink and enjoy some socializing and if you get hungry they also serve food. The food is very nice i highly recommend the fish finger sandwich at £5.50 it seems a tad price but in my opinion well worth it. On the drinks side they have a large selection of beers including Kirin on tap oh yes indeed, i love the jap beers. They probably have other drinks but i only drink beer or cola so I'm a little gray on this area.
The basement is run by elctroacoustic run the music side of things. They always have something going on every night mainly live acts, most the bands who play here are folk or jazz and i guess what people call alternative. Most the times i've been here to see live bands they've only charged a very resonable £6. The nights when they don't have live bands they have a DJ i've never been to one of these nights so can't say what they're like. it's a small venue which personal i prefer as it means you don't need to take binoculars just to see the artists. The acoustics of the venue are very good and ambience is very nice with low lighting and sofas and comfy chairs for you to spawl out on.
