where JFK was killed May 15, 2008
It is an educational and permanent historical exhibit that examines the life, times, death and legacy of President John F. Kennedy within the context of American history. The Museum's exhibition area uses historic films, photographs, artifacts, and interpretive displays to document the events of the assassination, the findings of the official investigations that followed and the historical legacy of that national tragedy

Because the sixth floor of this building, the site of the Museum, is where a sniper’s nest and rifle were found after the assassination of President Kennedy.

The presidential motorcade passed through downtown Dallas on Main Street then turned north onto Houston Street (moving against the normal direction of traffic—the street had been blocked off) for one block. From Houston Street, the motorcade turned left onto Elm Street and moved towards the triple underpass. Shots were fired at the motorcade on Elm Street, starting just past the oak tree on the north side of Elm and concluding before the limousine reached the second lamp post on the north side of the street.

grassy knoll is on the north side of Elm Street between the parking lots for the former Texas School Book Depository and the triple underpass, in front of and to the west of the Bryan Colonnade.

you can also go out into the middle of the road(during red lights)and take your picture next to an X on the ground where the fatel shot killed JFK
