The Shack Restaurant Dublin Reviews
Right next to Temple Bar May 07, 2013
We decided to eat in the Shack Restaurant after some sightseeing around Dublin and a quick visit to Temple Bar where only snacks are served.
The restaurant is conveniently located in Dublin's cultural district of Temple Bar and serves dishes from traditional Irish cuisine alongside with European food.
It is nicely decorated in rustic style with wooden tables and chairs.
On entering we were taken to a table and given food and drinks menu. It was hard to decide on a meal, but after a long consideration, I finally made up my mind to try Irish fish and chips accompanied with some white wine.
The quality of the dish was surprisingly very good with fish being very flaky which means it was fresh.
Although this dish wouldn't have been my standard choice, I was pleased I did have it his time as it was definitely of the finest quality.
The entire experience of the restaurant, including service and food, is worth a recommendation.
Price per meal per person including drink - approx. £12
