This charming hotel is located on the heart of Chicago downtown. You would not find modern, clean lines of standard hotels in this place. The hotel shows off traditional architecture and plush designs.
My room was a standard guest room with a small kitchen. It was very nice room – big window overlooking a complex of residential buildings. The bathroom was awesome, with whirlpool tub. The kitchen was great – fridge, four-eyed stove and conventional oven, a microwave, sink, and cabinets. There was no eating corner, though – no dining table and chairs. And oh, I couldn’t get over the faint gas smell from the stove. I guess it’s because it’s an old building. Or maybe because it’s been years since I used gas stove. I don’t know – it just felt kinda weird around the kitchen.
