The Secret Garden Hostel Quito Reviews
Nice Hostel in Quito Apr 27, 2009
I stayed at The Secret Garden Hostel for 1 night post-Galapagos Islands. It was what I had expected in a hostel. I rented a private room with a double bed, $20.00/night. It had a shared bathroom with one other person. The bed was quite sufficient for sleeping. Dinner is held at 6:30pm every night(sunset) on the terrace. Although I had already eaten, the food looked delicious. I did, somehow, find room for the tres leches cake. The view of colonial Quito is fabulous. The atmosphere is relaxed & chill.
There is a computer room with plenty of seating. You have to sign up for the online computer use. There are couches and chairs perfect for updating travel journals or to plan the current trip.
All in all, The Secret Garden Hostel gets my stamp of approval. It's For back-packers and for those solo travelers but also for small families.
