The Sandpiper - outskirts of southport

This beautiful conversion building transformed into a welcoming place to enjoy a meal.

A gravel car park, walk up to the garden gate, down the path & into a large spacious warm welcoming pub.

The Sandpiper has wooden beams, thick oak wooden doors and tables placed next to open woodburning fires.

The pub has exeptional food, on the weekends you can find your tradional roast meals but other meals are available on the menu.

During the week you can find food from tender steaks to chicken & leak pie (all home made) that makes the taste-buds run with joy!

Prices are mid range and well worth as portions are large enough to fill anyones boots.

The drinks menu consists of all the usual drinks such as stella, strong bow all the normal spirts etc but also includes old ales for the more adventerous!

Staff are welcome and friendly and enjoy a good conversation making you feel at ease

Great review! One of the things I love most about England is sitting in a wonderful pubs garden patio on a sunny summer day enjoying home-cooked comfort food or a ploughman's lunch :-D
