Interesting mix of pub, restaurant, wine store and deli Mar 19, 2011
The Salusbury (named after the road it’s located on in Queens Park) is an interesting institution; subdivided into a pub, restaurant, wine store and deli/ pizzeria it’s got something to suit whatever mood you’re in. So far I can testify to having hit the pub and pizzeria sections on several occasions; the pizza’s are pretty huge and great value (most are around £10) and you can get pretty cheap and half decent house wine as well as beers and soft drinks or choose a bottle of your own from the shelf and pay a small corkage fee. In addition the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is pretty laid back (the deli itself reminds me of an American dinner a little bit).

The pub itself gets pretty busy as it’s an established watering hole in Queens Park but has a great atmosphere and good selection of drinks (draft beers, wine and spirits).
