Lil' bit of the old country May 11, 2011
This hotel is the oldest one still in operation in Fiji. it is located in the sleepy former capital were the life isn't as fast paced at all and the architecture reflects the european influence.

The hotel itself is a lovely old colonial building surrounded by later additions of little cottages that sleep up to 8 people, many of them having their own cooking facilities. the hotel itself does not provide many meals, with the restaurant being a little disorganised, but it is about a 5 minute walk from town, where there are decent local restaurants.

It's mojor downside is that there are no nearby beaches, by it does have a salt water pool that was fun :)
