There are several routes you can take to reach the City of Pines. For the travellers from the South of the Philippines, there are two routes that they can take - Kennon Road and Marcos Highway. Kennon Road was opened to vehicles for almost a century ago. This is a popular road since there's a scenic view of the mountains and a popular landmark, the Lion's Head. When you take this road, it will take less an hour to reach the city proper from the toll gate which is located at the boundary of Benguet Province and La Union Province. Marcos Highway, on the other hand, takes more than an hour to reach the city proper. The road was named after the former President Ferdinand Marcos. Few years ago, you can actually find a big sculpture of head of Marcos along this road but this has been destroyed. For those travellers from the Northern part of the Philippines, the roads they can take if they are from Ilocos Province is the Naguillian Road and there's another road from the Mountain Province. The Naguillian Road is narrow as compared with Marcos Highway and it will take less than an hour from La Union to Baguip. The road from Mountain Province is a combination of smooth and rough roads and narrow compared with Marcos Highway.

You can also go there by air though the flights from Manila to Loakan Airport, Baguio City are few.
