The Rimrock Resort Hotel, Banff Alberta Apr 27, 2009
The Rimrock Resort Hotel overlooks the town of Banff, Alberta. The location is great. The hot springs and sightseeing gondolas are a short walk from the hotel and there is a free shuttle service to the town. There is a nice pool, gym, dry and steam sauna, and a large hot tub; all of which have a great view of the mountains.
I stayed here to attend some leadership training offered by my employer. The training took up the entire day, so being able to relax in the pool at night was appreciated. I didn't like a few things with the place. First, I'd like to say that the breakfast and room service were expensive, hardly original, the service was extremely slow, and the food did not taste good. Second, the service in the entire hotel was poor, and third, the bed was rock hard and very uncomfortable. Most of the group ended up eating in town during the week, which was a lot better. Overall, I think there are better places to stay in Banff. |

Fabulous! Jul 13, 2007
One of my favorite hotels in Banff. I stayed here again in March 2007 - it's not very impressive looking on the outside, but once you enter, it's lovely. Parking has now gone up to $10 a night for the self-park in the parkade, and there is a com...read entire review at TravelPost.com
