M/V Reina de los Flores Jan 01, 2013
If you want to travel from Batangas to Calapan and you want to bring your car along with you, then M/V Reina de los Flores is the answer. It is one of the vessels owned and managed by Montenegro Shipping Lines. The vessel ply via Batangas - Calapan (Oriental Mindoro) route. Of all the vessels in this category, I always prefer to board Reina de los Flores whenever possible because it traverses faster than other vessel of this route.

It has a spacious car deck that holds not only small cars but long trucks as well.

There is a canteen that serves snacks and even packed foods. You can have your cold drinks and beers at the bar. The kiosk is ready to serve your other needs.

The only downturn is that the passenger's hall doesn't have enough aircondition. It's pretty hot especially if the passengers are quite a number. But for those who want a fresh air, there is an open air deck. You can also enjoy the view of the sea if you stay at the viewing deck while having a cup of coffee.

Well, what I'm saying here is about the roll on - roll off vessel with car carrier. But if you don't bring your car on your travel and you want an even faster trip, better board the fast ferries (that's what I also did). There are also several fast crafts of this type that travels via Batangas - Calapan Route.

The choice is yours.
