The Restaurant at The Cheshire Saint Louis Reviews
Great Food and Gracious Staff May 12, 2013
We had brunch on Mother's Day and were one of the first customers of the day. The blood orange mimosa was really good (and not watered down like many are) with a good mix of juice to sparkling wine. My husband had smoke salmon Benedict on potato cakes (instead of English muffins, which is good since he has a gluten-allergy). I had a mushroom, spinach and goat cheese omelet.
We did have a snafu - I got the wrong meal at first, then when I was trying to eat what I thought was a mushroom stem, I discovered it was cardboard. but, the staff handled it perfectly. They comped my entree and coffee...and gave us both free dessert, which was a chocolate cake with hot fudge, strawberries and whipped cream...very decadent! So, I'm not going to hold the snafu against them.
