)   The Regent Esplanade hotel is an old 1925 Orient Express hotel that has been renovated into a modern luxury hotel.   It’s right next to the train station.     The tower near the funicular has a cannon protruding from one window and the cannon is fired at noon each day - an event that took us quite by surprise at noon this day.   We wandered thru the market and visited the Archeology Museum on the way back to the hotel Regent Esplanade.   … All the important buildings are painted yellow in Zagreb
