The Refuge House Reviews

Jul 11, 2007
The location of the Refuge House is perfect! Gdansk long street is just behind the corner and you can hear the city hall full-hour bells ringing at every full-hour. Plus if you go by car you have a parking space avaliable at city center, so no worries with parking at all.

The apartment itself was nice. Very cosy and beautiful. The apartment has everything you'll need. Though the only thing missing for us was the coffee maschine. And the cost for four persons for one night was 80 euros.

The reception person didn't speak English very well so it wasn't very easy to ask him about some problems. He did understood Russian but didn't speak it, he preffered Polish.

The price included bedlinen but there was one ensemble missing, so we had to explain a lot for the reception person to understand that we need four ensembles of bedlinen instead of three.

We also had a problem with internet connection. You can have it if you pay 10zl per day for extra but in our case the internet connection just didn't work. But the reception person gave us the money back.
