The Real Pizza Co.

the Real Pizza co is down a sidestreet between Bath Abbey and the River; it might be on York road, or something similar. It is a very nice little independent Italian restaurant with very little on the menu except Pizza, and one of my favourite places to eat in the South West.

The pizza is on thin, crispy bases and is freshly made. despite being freshly made, it comes to the table very quickly. And tastes amazing. They have a proper pizza oven and it shows. Service is quick, friendly, and yet not overbearing. And the house wine is very nice indeed.

One course of dinner plus drinks comes to around £12 per person, and you can get in and out inside 40 minutes without feeling in any way rushed or hastled, although they don't seem like they'd mind if you stayed all night. The decor is modern and bright without being jarring, and they play Italian pop music n the background.
